Tuesday [Le Havre] Parade & lecture morning & afternoon. Got a letter, wrote letters. Bright & mild. Put in for pass. Mud nearly all dried up now. Got papers from home.

Monday [Le Havre] Parade & lecture in morning. Med lecture in afternoon. Had pay, paid 40 Francs. Went to canteen at night. Wrote letters. Quite cold but bright.

Sunday [Le Havre] Church parade, got letter, wrote letters. Very quiet around camp. Draft picked for up the line. Cloudy & cold today.

Saturday [Le Havre] Drill & lecture in morning. Got letters at noon. Lecture after dinner. Went to YMCA at night. Mild but got cold at night. [sidebar] Got papers.
