Saturday [Le Havre] On fatigue at Le Havre. Showers most of the day. Large draft went out. Got letters from Canada. Quite mild. Wrote letter home.

Friday [Le Havre] On fatigue all day, Le Havre. Rained most of the day. Wrote letters home at night. No meat today, quite tired. Large crowd at YMCA. Quite mild.

Monday [Le Havre] Sick, didn’t go on parade till after dinner. Had med. lecture, was dismissed. Got paid 75 francs. Rained nearly all day, quite cold. got letters from Canada.

Sunday [Le Havre] Supposed to have C.P. but instead we had a court martial. Went for a walk afterwards, around tent most of the afternoon, got letters. Wrote letters. Bright & warm.
