Busy in morning till Seg’t came back. Bright & nice today. Wrote letters at night.

    Dec 9 looks like Serg’t to me, this one looks more like Seg’t, but could be a really quick and sloppy writing of Serg’t. But obviously same word.

    I thought so too. Serg’t could possibly be an abbreviation of Sergeant (more normally abbreviated as Sgt).
