Wednesday [Haute-Avesnes] Got 8 letters from Canada today. Very pleased to get them.

Tuesday [Haute-Avesnes] Left Barly and went to Haute-Avesnes and settled down for a few days. Very muddy and lots of rain.

Palm Sunday [Auchel] Wrote letters home this afternoon. Expect to move out any time now. Big attack going on up line.
