Saturday [Between Haute-Avesnes and Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise] Left Haute-Avesnes this morning about nine o’clock. Moved towards St. Pol about three K.M. Worked hard all day. Very chilly and windy. Put up QM stores and got partly straightened up.
