Sunday [Between Haute-Avesnes and Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise]

Went on straightening up. Very cold and rainy today. We started to change cars today. Whites to the 3rd ASP and the Kelleys to the Corps and we got Peerless’s back. Everything all upset, no one knowing what to do.

  1. [???] 1: change “cars” or “cans”? Not sure of what either would mean in that context.

    [???]2: Peerless’s?

  2. “cars” makes sense when you search around and find out that “Peerless” was a motor company that made cars and armoured vehicles!
