July 29, 1918

Monday [Agnez-lès-Duisans] Bright & warm. A little shower in afternoon. Slept & read in afternoon. Got a parcel of papers from home. No fatigue today.

Sunday [Agnez-lès-Duisans] Mostly bright today. No fatigue. Played cards and slept in afternoon. Have a nasty headache. Wrote letters in evening. Chilly near night. Helen T., G.R., R.S., M.W. Cards to J.W., May, W. Moffatt, H. Hethershaw.

Saturday [Agnez-lès-Duisans] Got through train at 11 o’clock. Had dinner then went to Artillery Corner for coke for Agnez-lès-Duisans dump. Got through about 3.30. Plenty of rain today. Got one letter today. Played cards at night.

Wednesday [Agnez-lès-Duisans] Train as usual. 2nd going to Tincques. News we are moving. Played cards most of the afternoon & evening & read.

Tuesday [Agnez-lès-Duisans] Rain most of the day today. Went to Mt. St. Aloy for hay. Got back at 1.45. Wrote letters & read in afternoon and evening. No mail.
