Saturday [Boves]

Got through train about 11 o’clock. Read in afternoon. Wrote a couple of cards to Canada.

Bright & warm today.

Went for a walk on the hills at night.

    I don’t know why but that sentence brought tears to my eyes. Envisioning a lonely soldier far away from home I guess.
