Friday

Got through at RH about 10.30. All got to work and made bivie [bivouac]. Slept in it tonight.

Bright moonlight tonight but chilly.

Went to bed early very tired. No mail today.

    I think this time he’s written bivie (yet another spelling variation on bivy/bivvy etc). His e and c are very hard to distinguish! I seem to have lost a comment from yesterday too – is that waiting approval or did it all fall down the interwebs? It was also bivouac related…
