Went to railhead at 9 o’clock. Did our train and did an extra issue for Thaw[?]. Presentations got finished about 3 o’clock. By the time I got cleaned up it was tea time.

Thaw? Capitalized, so maybe he was doing something for someone. In that case, could be any name!
Not sure, but there’s the longer word after that, which goes over the line break.
Looks like it might be “Thaw presentations”. So might be “did an extra issue for Thaw. presentations got finished about 3 o’clock”?? He isn’t consistent about capitalization or periods at end of sentences.
Presentations definitely makes sense, that can be some sort of public parade or something. Thaw is a possibility – maybe it’s a place-name rather than a surname.
