Left Donnybrook at 7 o’clock. Went to Y.M.C.A. for pack. Went back to Westland rail station and left at 8.25. Got to Kingstown about 8.50. Boat left at 9 o’clock. Got to Holyhead about 1 o’clock. Slept all the way over. Train waiting so left in about 20 minutes. Passed Chester, Crewe, Rugby. Got into Euston at ten minutes to eight.

Went to Y.M.C.A. at Euston and booked our beds then went down to the strand and had supper and got back & bed about ten o’clock.
