April 25, 1919

Went on parade at 8 o’clock and again at nine but nothing doing. Another draft picked but it was a western [?] one. Went over through tin town for a walk. Went on parade again at 2 o’clock but called off till 5 o’clock. At five it was cancelled till 7 o’clock. At 7 o’clock there was nothing doing. The draft for the Empress of Britain went at 11.30 tonight but no word of the Baltic.

Quite cold tonight but clear.
